Dropping from Sunswept Records on May 28th, Sofian Rouge's new album, Between Time and Earth, is an eclectic mix of 80's synths, electro pop, hip hop, and indie electro. The french composer really outdoes himself when creating his lush sounds and smooth pads, producing a unique atmosphere in itself. This is definitely going to be a huge release! Preview the album here:

Expected to drop in July 2013, Busy P's 3rd EP will be coming out on Ed Banger Records! Entitled "Still Busy," the new release will feature the likes of Thunderbird Gerard, Andrew Woodhead, and of course, Busy P, himself. Be on the lookout for remixes from Maelstrom, Dexter, Xavier de Rosnay (1/2 of Justice), and Parris Mitchell too!
This just in - the British phenom, Feed Me (also known as Spor for you DnB fans), is planning on getting away from the decks to focus on "being creative." Mucho support to this guy; he gives us hope that art (within the electronic music realm) still does exist. Here's what he said:
I went to a Hip-Hop 'Beats By Dre' event last night and had absolutely no idea what was going on. Very awkward.
Having said that I went to a Dance Music 'EDC' event last week and had absolutely no idea what was going on.
I really enjoy playing DJ sets, and it's an honour to be able to call it part of my job. However I've got a pressing feeling that its not...
...what I'm supposed to be doing. Around Autumn time I intent to stop, at least for a while.
What I really love doing is making music, art, telling stories; being creative. I don't want a situation where this becomes a back seat.
Seems common to assume writing music means wanting to DJ - I started by accident? It's a fun and enriching social experience but not art.
Newcomer to the blog, J.A.C.K, is killing the french electro scene lately. With complextro phase of electronic music (seemingly) fading, some artists are returning to that 2005-2009 sound that was popularized by the likes of Justice, Cassius, SebastiAn, and more. Enjoy my friends:
